Jason K. Martin is an actor, teacher, and certified associate of Fitzmaurice Voicework. He received his MFA in Acting from California State University in Long Beach and his B.A. in English from Duke University. In addition to his responsibilities at UIC, he currently teaches dialects and Shakespeare at Roosevelt University and he was a lecturer in Performance Studies at Northwestern for three years. He has coached text and dialects for various theatres in the Chicago area, including several at Piccolo Theatre and projects at Silk Road Theatre and the Goodman.He was last seen on stage as Ahab, Starbuck, and other voyagers in The Building Stage’s hit, Moby-Dick.
