Students are required to audition for entrance into the BA (performance track) and BFA programs. Both first year and transfer students are eligible to audition.

Audition Requirements

Persons interested in the B.F.A. or B.A. in Performance should prepare two-two minute contrasting modern monologues. Persons interested in the B.A. in Design should prepare resume for interview.

Theatre Audition/ Interview Reservation

2. New student New students must also begin an online application at http://www.uic.edu/depts/oar/undergrad/apply_undergrad.html by January 15. Transfer and re-admit students must apply by March 31.

Program Orientation at 10:30 AM on Saturday auditions

There will be a program orientation for prospective students and their families. An overview of the University, the College of Architecture and the Arts, and the theatre program will be presented and a question and answer opportunity will follow. Auditions will commence immediately following the orientation session.

Students may also apply for Talent Tuition Waivers. Applications will be available at your audition.
